Estimates and approval

Every job starts with an inspection. We tell you what we found, what we recommend, and what it will cost, and no work begins until you approve the estimate. If the fault turns out to be different once work has started, we stop and come back to you with a revised estimate before continuing.

Prices

• A/C gas filling is ₹1,500 for a single module and ₹2,200 for a double module, leak check included.
• General service is ₹4,499 for petrol and ₹5,699 for diesel. Price varies with the quantity and brand of oil your car needs.
• Essential Service starts at ₹2,499.
• Compressor, evaporator, condenser and other major A/C work is diagnosed first and quoted after. We do not publish a fixed price for it, because there is not one.

Published prices cover labour and the items listed for that service. Parts, consumables and additional faults found on inspection are quoted separately. Prices may change; the price that applies is the one in the estimate you approve. Taxes are charged as applicable.

Booking, slots and timing

Bookings are confirmed by phone or WhatsApp. Common jobs are usually completed the on a booked slot; diagnosis-dependent work and anything needing a part ordered in takes longer. We confirm the expected timeline after inspection, not before it. We do not promise on a booked slot completion for every job.

Pick-up and drop

Free pick-up and drop anywhere in Chennai, on confirmed bookings, subject to slot availability. Outside Chennai it is available on request, chargeable, and quoted case by case. Full terms are on the pick-up and drop policy page.

Your vehicle while it is with us

Please remove valuables before handing the vehicle over; we cannot accept responsibility for items left inside. Tell us about any known fault, modification or accessory that affects the work. Collect the vehicle within a reasonable time of being told it is ready.

Repair warranty

Where warranty applies to a repair, the terms are confirmed to you in writing before work begins. Ask your technician for the terms that apply to your job. Parts carry only the warranty offered by their own manufacturer.

Payment

Payment is due on collection unless agreed otherwise in writing. Fleet accounts are invoiced under their own contract.

Prices, descriptions and availability on this site are provided in good faith and may change. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis of your vehicle — a fault can only be identified by inspecting the car. Content and images on this site belong to GM Car A/C Service unless credited otherwise. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall to the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
